The Gulf Tyre & Rubber Holding Co., via its subsidiary companies is focussed on various aspects of the tyre, battery and industrial rubber industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The group was established in 2002, and is structured into specialised businesses, each servicing its own niche market.

Saudi Arabia

• General Automotive (GA) - KSA
Official distributor of Pirelli branded tyres throughout the Kingdom. An extensive network of branches and franchise partners, provides professional services to customers while fleet management solutions meet the needs of fleet owners.

• General Batteries (GB)
Sole importer and distributor of Exide branded automotive, commercial and marine batteries. Exide has been in the forefront of industry innovations for more than 120 years and is one of the world’s largest producers and recyclers of lead-acid batteries.

• General Tyre and Accessories (GTA)
Importer and distributor of Infinity, Eternity and other brands of tyres and automotive batteries. The company is also the sole distributor of Eternity Technologies Industrial Batteries. The company’s regional offices, service centres, and franchise partners ensures an extensive market presence. GTA’s dedicated service engineers ensure superior after-sales support.

• General Fleet Solutions (GFS)
A pioneer and leading fleet management company specialising in customised on-site tyre and battery services, providing equipment, systems and training for the cost-effective operation of fleet companies.

• General Retreads (GR)
General Retreads specialises in the production of Bandag truck and earthmover retreads. Using Bandags unique patented process, specially formulated compounds and tested tread designs, the state-of-the-art plants in Dammam and Jeddah, follow international safety standards and produce product of exceptional quality.

• General Fluid Management (GFM)
The company provides premium quality hoses and fittings. Its’ workshop is fully equipped with cutting, crimping, and testing facilities. The crimping of hoses can be completed at the workshop or onsite through the company’s fleet of mobile service vans.

• General Industries (Gi)
Gi is an importer and manufacturer of industrial rubber and polyurethane products. The company is a leader in the supply of conveyor belts and parts, providing full turnkey solutions to companies across the Kingdom. Professional building and equipment protection services such as anti-corrosion and rubber lining, are also a core business activity and we are proud to be partner with industry trusted brands such as Metso, Rima Tip Top, Semperit, Almex and Infinity.

Leading distributor of prominent brands of tyres, batteries, lubricants and rubber products, providing professional services, including fleet management, core filling and rubber product solutions throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. The group has enjoyed significant growth over the years and continues to broaden its business interests. The groups extensive network of branches across Saudi and Bahrain, coupled with its access to leading brands, high quality products and uncompromising service has resulted in its emergence as a leading and well respected company in the various sectors and countries in which it operates.
